DECEMBER
December 26 - Guided Snowshoe Tour. - Take a walk through the winter woods at Great Glen Trails. You'll have a knowledgeable and friendly staff member to show you the way. We may even see animal prints along the tour and talk about the flora and fauna of the White Mountains. Great for all ages and all abilities.

JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH
Guided Snowshoe Tours - Daytime and Evening Take a walk through the winter woods at Great Glen Trails. You'll have a knowledgeable and friendly staff member to show you the way. We may even see animal prints along the tour and talk about the flora and fauna of the White Mountains. At night, joinm a naturalist from AMC, navigate with your senses, listen for owls. Great for all ages and all abilities.

Nordic Meisters All day. Ski against the clock in the skate and/or classic division, choosing either the long course (~5k) or the short course (~3km), or both! The series consists of eight weeks of timed runs with participants' six best age-graded times selected for series-end standings. Or, join the untimed division just to get out each week and enjoy the trails.

Nordic Demo Day - Demo Day features representatives with the latest in skis, boots, poles, wax and accessories. Great Glen Outfitters carries most of the items that will be featured during Demo Day, and the staff will be available to help with packages and sizing and to answer any additional questions. Free demos with trail pass; look for great deals in store!

JANUARY
First Day Hike - Start the New Year off on a healthy and fun note! Join us on January 1st, 2020, for skiing and snowshoeing fun at our Milan Hill State Park trails. This popular event, co-sponsored by the Nansen Ski Club and NH Parks will include club-guided and self-guided tours of the trails. We will have loaner equipment available for those who do not have their own gear. Warm drinks, a warm fire, and warm, friendly people will be there to greet you and assist with gear. Even runs from noon to 3 pm.
FEBRUARY
Annual Dinner Dance & Raffle Annual, fantastically popular Dinner/Dance and Raffle will be at the White Mountain Chalet.

Annual Winter Carnival - Spectacular Winter Carnival. Join us for a Burning of the Greens and ice skating event on Friday evening; an expanded Art Sled Rally and some surprise activity (check back later for details) at the ski jump on Saturday; and Soup, Bread, Skis and Snowshoes on snowshoes at the trails on Sunday. We also hope to have an interesting presentation on animal tracks and winter habits during the Sunday event. We’ll update this listing as specific times events are confirmed.
