May 29 & 31, June 6 & 8 - Bicknell's Thrush Tour at Mt. Washington Auto Road

Early morning self-driving guided tour to see this rare Bicknell’s Thrush, an extremely rare secretive species with very limited breeding grounds. It is the only bird whose breeding is restricted to the Northeastern part of the continent. June 1- Gorham Moose Tours begin

7pm - thru September 30th - From the Town Common, a 3-4 hour tour in a comfortable tour bus. Enjoy a moose / wildlife tour on the North Country's longest-running tour with experienced wildlife guides that know just where to search and find Moose! more info

June 9 - Gorham Farmers' Market begins

Every Thursday thru October 7, 2021 from 3:00 - 6:00pm, Town of Gorham Common. Live music, family activities, good food and great vendors! Featuring a variety of local vendors selling fresh and organic produce, fruits, meats, baked goods, pastries, eggs, jams / jellies, preserves, goat dairy products, coffee, cheeses, honey products, maple products, local authors, handcrafted items such as; leather goods, soaps, dog treats, sewn / crochet items, wood turned kitchen items, prepared food including; Thai food, meatball / pork / beef sandwiches and chicken wings, homemade sauces, lemonade, teas, wild forged items; mushrooms, chaga, fiddleheads, local author novels, and much more! more info

10pm - 5pm Lots of great food, beer tasting, 2 live bands, cornhole tournament and softball game on the town common. Bring your lawn chair!

June 18 - Northeast Delta Dental Road Race up Mt. Washington

60th Anniversary - THERE'S ONLY ONE HILL. This historic all-uphill run draws thousands of runners from around the globe to make the grueling climb to the summit of the highest peak in the Northeast. more info

June 25 - NH ATV Day on Mt. Washington

SOLD OUT - The Gerry Pomerleau Memorial Ride on June 27th benefits the NH ATV Club – in 2019 the Auto Road gave back over $10,000 to the club which goes to support trail maintenance and access, rider safety, and education. more info

June 28 - August 2 - Summer Mountain Bike Series at Great Glen Trails

A weekly mountain bike series for all abilities and ages. Every Tuesday for 6 weeks, racers can ride the long, short, or mini courses between 3:30 and 7:00 pm. Register online — no fees! more info

July 1 thru 4 - Gorham 4th of July Celebration

The longest running Independence Day Celebration in the state of NH, takes place on the Town Common. Miller Amusements Carnival on the midway, a live concert every night, Classic Car Show, sidewalk vendors, music and Karioke, Sunday the 4th the Kiddie Parade and Main Parade on Main Street with fireworks at 10 pm. more info

July 15 - The Final Impressions at the Medallion Opera House

7:30 pm - Come to the Medallion Opera House for a ROCKIN’ set of great music from The Final Impressions. Donations will be gratefully accepted. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Medallion Opera House. more info

July 16 & 17 - Seek the Peak Fundraiser

The non-profit Mt Washington Observatory's annual fundraiser, Great Glen Trails at the Mount Washington Auto Road will be the "base camp" for all activities from registration to the epic expo taking place on Saturday, July 17 featuring a vendor village, food trucks, ans live music as sponsored particiants seek to make the trek to the top of Mt. July 31 - Sunrise Ascent of Mt. Washington by Adaptive Sports Partners

Before sunrise, during this fundraiser for Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country, (ASPNC), teams ascend the Auto Road determined to reach the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. Each team includes an adaptive athlete and “mules” who help an athlete needing assistance or accompany an independent athlete as he or she climbs the 7.6 miles to the summit. more info

After a strange year, New England's Premier Mountain Bike Race returns! Registration for the Moat Mountain 24 Hours of Great Glen is SOLD OUT with a field of 500 racers! For two decades, people from across the country traveled to the base of Mt. Washington to participate in this 24 Hour (24HOGG) mountain bike race. more info

August 7 - Bob Marley at the Medallion Opera House

August 13, 14 & 15 - Subaru Mt. Washington Hillclimb

Presented by Yokohama Tire, is known as the Climb to the Clouds — a thrilling car race from the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road to the 6,288’ summit. The race has a three-day format, with practice runs on half of the mountain on Friday and Saturday morning. The practice location on either the lower half or the upper half of the mountain depends on the weather. more info

August 20 - 49th Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb

Riders will take off for the 49th annual Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb (MWARBH)for a challenging and rewarding day on the rockpile followed by festivities at the base. This year Tin Mountain Conservation Center will be hosting 425 riders for this iconic race. more info

September 9 - 11 - Muster in the Mountains

A weekend of colonial reenactment comes to the Auto Road. A colonial encampment representing the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and Mountain Man periods from 1750 through 1840. This gathering will take place in the fields at the base of the Mt. Washington. more info

September 10 - 17th Annual Roland Chabot Fishing Derby
